Configure Advertising Tools with Synthetic Users
After creating your Synthetic Users model, the next step is to configure your advertising and conversion tools to work seamlessly with Synthetic Users data. If you haven’t set up your model yet, please Create your Synthetic Users model first.
General Configuration for AdTech / Conversion Tools
Ensure that your AdTech or Conversion tool is configured with “Server-side” execution type to use Synthetic Users.
If you don’t have any server-side AdTech or Conversion tools, follow this guide to add a new tool to your JENTIS Platform.
Step 1: Configure consent settings.
On the main menu of your JENTIS Platform, navigate to the Legal Hub and click on Vendors.

Search for the vendor to the corresponding tool you added and click on “Edit”.

Under Consent Settings, change the settings to “Consent Enabled (Essential Mode)”.

Click on the Save button to save the vendor changes.
Step 2: Configure the conversion tag.
Update your conversion/tracking tags associated with the advertising tool:
Add Synthetic User Click ID variable in the Essential Mode column as a placeholder for a standard click ID parameter.

Configure any additional consent-related parameters as required by your platform using predefined Synthetic Users variables (e.g. Google Consent Mode Parameters must be set to be positive in the Synthetic User case).
