Configuration of Raw Data Exports
Your JENTIS DCP processes vast amounts of data daily, classifying it into identifiers, metadata, and content-related data. With the Raw Data tool, you can access all available data in a structured format. This enables you to integrate web analytics links with your intelligence systems' data lakes systematically.
What is Raw Data?
The raw data consists of signals received by the JENTIS server during tracking implementations. This data is organized into objects (documents) with key-value pairs. With JENTIS, you can choose to store the captured website data permanently through a daily export. If you enable this feature, the data is accessible on a web storage system (sFTP server) using personal credentials. The data is available in .json or .csv formats, with each file representing the data exported for one day.
Installation
After you logged into your JENTIS DCP you will find the link to the tools on the left side.

Click "Add New Tool" and select JENTIS "Raw Data Pixel".

Provide a name for the pixel, select the container for Raw Data tracking, and click "Save" to set up this tool configuration. Enabling the toggle for automatic installation of default tags will add essential tags, such as those for tracking pageviews, events, and ecommerce data using the Raw Data tool. You can also modify existing tags or create new ones to track custom events and data on your website.
Default and Recommended Tags
To selectively install tags in JENTIS, simply add each tag individually, configuring data points and triggers as needed. We recommend installing at least the following tags to capture Raw Data, although this is not technically mandatory:
Pageview Tag
Session Tag
User Tag
This ensures you have the essential tags for data measurement and activation.
Finish Configuration
Before publishing the new version of your DCP configuration, preview the tags. Ensure all raw data stored is displayed correctly in the tags and verify that it meets your requirements. Once satisfied with the configuration, publish the version, and the data will update daily.
Raw Data Access
To access data through the sFTP protocol, you need to go through an authentication process. Please contact your JENTIS Client Success Manager to obtain your login credentials.
