# Turn Off the Consent JavaScript SDK in JENTIS Tag Manager

JENTIS Tag Manager allows you to **completely disable** the **Consent JavaScript SDK**.\
When this setting is enabled:

* No consent is awaited before activating tracking
* Tracking can start **immediately** at any time
* All JENTIS consent-related functionality is **disabled**
* Tag Manager is **disconnected** from any CMP consent information

### How to Disable Consent Handling

1. **Navigate** to your JENTIS account’s **Administration** settings
2. Select **Consent Administration**
3. Locate the **toggle** to turn off consent handling
4. Apply your changes

### Important Legal Notice

> ⚠ **Warning:**\
> Only use this mode if you are certain it aligns with your legal and compliance obligations.\
> Disabling the Consent JavaScript SDK means **no consent checks** are performed before tracking.

### Advanced Configurations

Disabling consent handling still allows you to:

* Apply **different tool and tag configurations** without waiting for user interaction
* Combine this approach with **JENTIS Essential Mode** to ensure privacy-safe fallback data processing before consent is given

✅ **Recommendation:**\
Before disabling consent handling, consult with your **legal or compliance team** to ensure you meet all applicable data protection requirements.
